For me, motorcycling is more than just a hobby – it's the most beautiful way to discover Georgia and share special moments with other people. I've been riding on asphalt and gravel for many years and know the routes, the views, and the small towns that make this country so unique.
On my tours, it's important to me that everyone feels comfortable – regardless of their experience or riding style. I take my time, listen, and adjust the pace to the group. This creates relaxed days full of riding enjoyment, wonderful encounters, and unforgettable experiences.

Georgien mit dem Motorrad – eine unvergessliche Reise durch ein faszinierendes Land
Nachdem ich Georgien bereits 2022 auf eigene Faust mit einem geländegängigen Kfz erkundet hatte, stand für mich fest: Dieses wunderschöne und vielfältige Land wollte ich auch einmal vom Motorrad aus erleben. Im August 2025 war es dann soweit.
Die Tour startete in Tiflis, und schon bald zeigte sich, welches Glück wir mit unserem Guide Zura hatten. Er kennt Georgien wie seine Westentasche und führte uns über interessante Straßen und Wege durch die verschiedensten Regionen des Landes – vorbei an zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Dazu zählten u. a. die Weinregion Kachetien, der uralte Klosterkomplex Dawit Garedscha direkt an der Grenze zu Aserbaidschan, die malerisch gelegene Gergeti-Dreifaltigkeitskirche am Fuße des über 5.000 Meter hohen Kasbek im Großen Kaukasus sowie das UNESCO-Weltkulturerbedorf Uschguli auf ca. 2200 m mit seinen historischen Wehrtürmen.
Auch abseits der Fahretappen wurde für uns bestens gesorgt: Die ausgewählten Unterkünfte waren durchweg sehr gut, und die georgische Küche bescherte uns kulinarisch unvergessliche Momente.
Besonders hervorzuheben war die Gruppe selbst – sowohl menschlich als auch fahrerisch harmonierten wir ausgesprochen gut. Unser Guide Zura war jederzeit zuvorkommend und ging flexibel auf die Wünsche der Gruppe ein. Mein persönliches Highlight war, als Zura uns zu seinen Eltern zum Essen einlud. Die Gastfreundschaft, die wir dort erleben durften, war einzigartig. Dank ihm bekamen wir einen echten Einblick in die georgische Seele und das Leben vor Ort.
Ich habe noch kein Land so intensiv erlebt wie Georgien – eine Reise, die ich uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen kann.

I recommend Zura as an enduro tour guide in Georgia based on a nearly week-long tour he led for our group.
He knows Georgia’s mountain and off-road routes thoroughly, and showed it in practice — when the weather turned, he adjusted our route more than once without losing the character of the trip, always keeping safety and ride quality in mind.
When one of the bikes needed a tire change mid-tour, he handled it quickly and without fuss, getting us back on the road with minimal delay.
He’s calm under pressure, reads conditions well, and clearly has the mechanical and navigational experience to handle whatever a multi-day tour throws at him. I’d ride with him again without hesitation.
